Here's how you can quickly get access to everything Halo Infinite Season 2 has to offer.

Halo Infinite Season 2 is finally here, and as players flock to its new game modes to blast each other to pieces and earn XP, many are no doubt wondering what the best ways to rank up the Halo Infinite Battle Pass are. After all, since getting enough XP to rank up the Battle Pass is the primary way you earn new cosmetics in Halo Infinite, leveling up efficiently is important.

If you're one of these people, don't worry — we're here to help with a detailed guide on how you can level up fast and rank up your Season 2 Battle Pass in Halo Infinite. Follow these strategies, and you'll be climbing to rank 100 in no time.

Grind weekly challenges

Halo Infinite

The best way to earn XP fast in Halo Infinite is to grind the game's weekly challenges, which give you large chunks of XP when you finish them. These challenges typically require you to get kills with specific weapons or vehicles, play specific game modes, or play the objective in objective-based game modes. As you complete challenges throughout each week, these weekly challenges will become harder to complete. However, the trade-off is that they're also more rewarding and will give you huge amounts of XP if you can finish them.

Eventually, you'll run out of weekly challenges and will be given an Ultimate Challenge to do. Finishing this challenge rewards you with even more XP and a unique cosmetic item that's independent of the Battle Pass. Following this, you'll have to wait for Halo Infinite's weekly reset before you can get more weekly challenges. In the meantime, make sure you play at least six matches each day, as doing so will allow you to earn 1,000 XP through daily challenges — enough for a full level on the Battle Pass.

If you're struggling to complete a specific weekly challenge, consider using a Challenge Swap consumable to trade it for a different one. You can obtain these often by progressing through the Battle Pass, though you can also get one from the Boost and Swap Pack for 200 credits (two dollars) in the Halo Infinite microtransactions store. Notably, this pack also gives you an XP Boost consumable. Keep in mind that you can also earn up to 1,000 credits by progressing through the Season 2 Battle Pass, so you don't have to spend real money on these packs if you still have credits available to earn.

Use XP Boosts

Halo Infinite

While you're grinding weekly challenges, it's also hugely beneficial to use the XP Boost consumables that you can get from the Battle Pass or the Boost and Swap Packs in Halo Infinite's store. These consumables double your XP gains for thirty minutes, meaning that if you use one before completing a handful of weekly challenges, you'll get a massive amount of XP — especially if the weekly challenges are the difficult ones that award a significant amount of XP on their own. The best case scenario would be to use an XP Boost before finishing the weekly Ultimate Challenge, which will give you a massive amount of XP.

While using XP Boosts to improve the XP gains from daily challenges is decently effective, we recommend saving them for weekly challenges so you can make the most of them. You can only get so many XP Boosts from the Battle Pass before you run out, so use them wisely (unless you're planning on buying them with real money).

Buy levels with Credits

Halo Infinite

A third option available to people who don't mind using real money is simply buying Battle Pass levels. Each level costs 200 Credits, which is two dollars in real money. Note that you can only buy Halo Infinite Credits in increments of 500, meaning that you can't just buy enough Credits for one level. This can get pretty expensive very quickly, especially since there are 100 levels in each Battle Pass. Because of this, we don't recommend leveling up this way.

With that said, don't forget that you do have this option if you expect to be unable to play Halo Infinite during Season 2 and don't want to spend time leveling up an old Battle Pass when Season 3 eventually goes live. Note that you can also use your earned credits from the Battle Pass to buy additional levels.

Halo Infinite multiplayer is available now for free on Xbox and PC, and while it hasn't had the greatest start, it has the potential to grow into one of the best Xbox shooters ever made.
