Regenerate health over time in Elden Ring with the Blessed Dew talisman.
Elden Ring's health and mana flask system can be difficult to balance, but the Blessed Dew talisman helps by regenerating health over time. I've found this especially useful for my beginner Astrologer sorcerer, as I can allocate most flasks over to mana (FP) and let the talisman keep my health (HP) topped up. This is arguably one of the best items in Elden Ring, and for that reason it's usually not found until way later in the game. However, there's a method that can land you the Blessed Dew talisman early on without much difficulty.
How to get the Blessed Dew talisman in Elden Ring
There are plenty of awesome unique items in Elden Ring, and many of them can be grabbed near the start of your playthrough without a whole lot of trouble. Astrologers who have already seen our guide on how to get the Meteorite staff might now want some natural health regeneration to help balance flasks towards FP (mana).
The Blessed Dew talisman is held in a chest in Leyndell, an area that's normally blocked off until way later in your playthrough. However, by utilizing a teleporter trap in the Tower of Return, you can nab the talisman at the start of your playthrough. The chest that holds that talisman is guarded by a golem that will absolutely crush most underleveled characters, but you can simply run by, open the chest, grab the talisman, and run away.
I suggest spending most of your runes before the attempt. I got caught in a cycle of trying to rescue my runes before eventually giving up to yet another one-shot kill from the golem. The tradeoff of losing a few runes is well worth getting the talisman.
Here's how to get the Blessed Dew talisman in Elden Ring.
Travel to the Tower of Return. It is located on the southern edge of the western side of the Weeping Peninsula.
Climb to the top of the tower via three ladders. You can run past or engage with the enemies on the ground. There is also one enemy at the top of the tower.
Open the treasure chest at the top of the tower. You will be teleported to Leyndell, Royal Capital.
Run up the stairs and touch the Site of Grace. It's recommended not to go much further with a large stash of runes in case the golem hits you.
- Head through the arch and to the right. The golem will awake and begin to stand up.
Open the chest and claim the Blessed Dew talisman.
You can now either run away from the golem or fight the golem. If you're still at a low level the fight will be very one-sided, so I recommend just getting out of there and leaving the battle for a later time. Even if you die, you'll still have the talisman in your possession and you'll be able to fast travel back to a different Site of Grace. Be sure to equip the Blessed Dew talisman to take advantage of the constant health regeneration.
