The old king
Surface Studio 1
Perhaps you're looking for the Surface Studio 2, but cheaper. In that case, pick up the last generation Surface Studio, featuring the same beautiful design and display, just with less powerful specifications. The original Surface Studio can still get by doing most tasks with ease, however, so it shouldn't be that bad.
If we're making a suggestion
Whether you're looking for something with a beautiful display like the Asus ZenAIO, or something beautifuly designed like the HP Envy 27, we've got a recommendation for everyone. Even the original Surface Studio is a great pick, if you can find it for a good price.
In fact, if you're looking for a Surface Studio 2 alternative because you just can't afford the Surface Studio 2, the Surface Studio 1 is a great idea. The Surface Studio 1 and Surface Studio 2 are very similar on the outside, the only major differences being with what's on the inside. Now, the Surface Studio 1 is using older hardware, with a much less powerful GPU and slower mechanical hard drive, so keep that in mind if you do decide to go with the original Surface Studio.
We're also huge fans of the Dell Inspiron 27 thanks to its simple design. It has great front facing speakers, a beautiful display, and it isn't even that expensive to get started.
