Getting games using the Epic Games Store doesn't necessarily mean you bought them from there. Redeeming codes is a bit of a messy process. Here's how you do it if you bought your Epic title elsewhere.

- Epic Games: Metro Exodus ($60)
How to redeem codes from the Epic Games Store
You'll only need to do this if you acquired your Epic Games Store PC title, such as The Division 2, from a third-party. You also don't use the PC client for it.
Head to the Epic Games Store in your web browser.
- Log in to your account.
- Click on your username in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on account.
Click on redeem code in the left-hand menu.
Enter the code into the box and click redeem.
- Ensure the code matches the game you're buying and click confirm.
To install your game, you now have to go back to the Epic Games Launcher on your PC, where you'll find it listed in your library.
Hopefully, Epic will add the ability to redeem codes via the app eventually, since this is a pretty long process for such a simple thing. Nevertheless, if you've got an Epic Games Store code from somewhere else, now at least you'll be able to redeem it with ease.
Home of some top games
Love it or hate it, the Epic Games Store has made some serious moves in a short space of time and is the PC home of some top titles, including The Division 2 and Metro Exodus.

The Division 2
New city, same mission.
The Division 2 moves the post-outbreak action to Washington D.C. with new tactics, specialists, a whole new endgame experience and Dark Zone for fans to enjoy.
Ubisoft learned a lot from The Division and amassed a huge fan base for its tactical, cover-based shooter. The Division 2 is bigger, better and more ambitious, and it's shaping up to be one of 2019's biggest hitters.
That's not all
The other big name to jump on from Steam to the Epic Games Store is Metro Exodus, another of 2019's most exciting looking titles.

The post-apocalyptic Russian wilderness is not your friend, but you'll want to play this for sure.
